    Thumbs down Cancelling an order not dispatched

    Hi,

    I have just had a very bad experience of buying a large amount of items from scan, and feel that my items will never arrive with the way it is carrying on. Last night, the PSU was out of stock (fair enough), and then tonight the case was out of stock (How can the case be out of stock tonight when it wasnt yesterday??? Surely they hold items to one side waiting for your last item to come in to stock?). I therefore feel if I leave it and change the case tomorrow, something else will go out of stock, so I am cancelling my order. I rung up tonight at 16:45 to pay extra for the morning delivery on the next day as it was not a very convinient day, and then also asked as to whether ALL the items were in stock. I was assured all was in stock and ready to be collected and dispatched tonight. Alas it wasn't and I have run out of faith.

    I have no doubt people have no problems ordering 1 or 2 items at a time, but anymore and its a nightmare.

    Are there any reasons why this cancellation might not be accepted? Replies appreciated,

    Its just yer luck pal I placed an order for a system on Friday night all were dispatched yesterday morning. Should have today . As I say its down to luck. Are there no other cases/psu you could take instead that are in stock? Could phone cs up and get them to change the out of stock items.

    it's happened to quite a few. the stock system is kinda different at scan.

    Chris - while your at it, would you mind taking a look at my order.

    I ordered lunchtime monday, paid £15 for next day - pre 12 delivery. Twice I have been told by customer services that all the parts are in stock but I still havent recieved anything and the order tracker is still showing that parts havent even been picked.

    I'm a new member so cant Pm you my order number but maybe you could find it through my name.

    Please post the invoice number, I will delete and check the status of your order

    Please note the pre 12am service only guarantees delivery pre 12am, the day of delivery is not guaranteed

    26th? That's today...and they didnt arrive and still arent even showing as picked hence my post.

    If all the items are in stock - why does it take 2 days (and counting) to pick/dispatch them.

    The components are for my son's b'day present - hence my impatience :-)

    One of those days today .....

    Apologies for the mistake on my part and the delay.

    I will keep an eye on the order and ensure this ships tonight for you, the delay was due to a high volume of orders in our warehouse, at the time when the order was processed.

    Well it did arrive today - (thanks Chris) - but not before 12 as paid for. I had to arrange for someone to wait in.

    Do scan refund the pre-12 delivery premium if they failed to deliver before 12??
