    Scan Returns

    Hi, just sent this query into Scan,

    "Hi,

    My LG monitor isn't working properly. The picture quality and everything is fine but switching between the 2 input cables is broken.

    It's kinda complicated but bear with me,

    When both my Xbox 360 (VGA cable) and PC (DVI) are connected and switched on it will show the PC input. Now pressing the 'source' button should change to the XBox, instead it goes to analogue mode then into power saving.

    Only when the PC is off, Xbox on, will the input from the Xbox be shown.

    I phoned LG about this first and they have a record of my call so it happened before some 28 day thing. Originally I was going to get an exchange from them but they have advised me that it would be better telling Scan first as the exchange would only be for a refurbished monitor.

    With your returns do I have to pack the whole monitor up and send it off or will you send a courier round for an exchange? As the packaging and everything is all the way back home and I'm at University at the moment I'd rather not have to send it off."


    But this forum tends to get faster results so only sent that to be official. Any Scan people here to answer the questions?

    If I have to send it off I'll just get LG to give me an exchange instead as I really need my monitor right now being back at University so don't want to go without it for a few days and also the packaging is back home.

    A Return to Scan would need for the item to be packed up and returned to us for testing, following which a replacement would be issued.

    We do not offer a direct exchange service.

    Thanks, think I'll just get an exchange from LG then. A refurbished one should still be alright.
