I am not complaining, life is like, but my last order with Scan really rattled me.
I placed an order, with items that are all marked as "In Stock" so that I could have the items before the weekend, as I have a job booked for Saturday. On Wednesday I received an email saying the order was delayed, appologies etc, a standard delayed email. I let it til 5ish before I connected customer services. They told me one of the items was not in stock. I explained I had placed the order when it was in stock, etc but I suppose that can happen.
I asked the representative on the phone if she could replace it with a simular item and get it sent out today, she said that was fine. So I have her another LN code of an item In Stock, and again was told Scan cannot send this item, a third code, Sorry this cannot me send. I then accidently gave her a code for a product showing as "Pre Order" on the chance it was in stock, and she told me that item should not be showing as "In Stock", frankly neither should the others.
She removed the item as Scan had nothing else to match that item originally ordered. So now I will have to place another order elsewhere and pay more carraige.
Is there a perfectly good explanation for this, or have Scan got shabby with online stock numbers?
