best bet would be to flog the Geil and buy yourself some corsair to match what you have in there, that way you can 99% guarantee no problems.

Also, could I get some more info on the water cooling used and does it need a lot of maintaining, if so I think I'm better off with the Zalman unit.

Edit (changed things a bit, I'm really nervous about this and keep changing my mind every 5 minutes)

Would still like to probably change the cooling system though if its going to be something that could get screwed up if I'm not on the ball, I usually leave my PC on 24/7/365, this one will be spare to use for that stuff of course, the Scan will mainly be for general non donkey work.

Its completely new, still boxed, will I be able to use it with the corsair sticks?
The Corsair stuff is good, so I would just add a couple of sticks more of the same to ensure compatability.

If you still want to out your Geil - I'll take it - pm me with a price

For water cooling would not the 3XS GTS water cooled system be better? I have looked at this myself and need to ask Scan some questions as to maintenance of the water cooling and its pro`s and cons .

I am also thinking of holding off till after xmas when the latest round of graphics card ought to be a little more settled with ATI as yet to release their answer to the 8800 Gt series .

I don't think ATI are going to be catching up anytime soon tbh, they never even matched the 8800GTX and thats been around a fair while now.

But yeah I mean if the water cooling is going to be a hassle I'd rather not have it and just go with something a bit more basic.
