Refund for item that was taken off order due to being out of stock

    The invoice number is: <removed>

The original order was for £1,075.68 but with no prior notice the order arrived 2 items short and the invoice showed they had been removed. The total on the revised invoice was showing as £1049.85.

I called up to ask what had happened to them, and was told they were taken off due to being out of stock and it would be refunded to my credit card. They were showing as in stock, so the operator put me through to sales to re-order them. I later got an email saying they were out stock so I asked for the order to be canceled. I received the refund for the second order back to my card the next day, but i have still not been refunded the £25.83 for the 2 items that were taken off the original order.

Also you might want to check the actual real stock level of LN18390 because the whole time they have been showing as in stock on the website.

I've raised this on the OLQ system and passed the Query to the payments department so they can check into the refund and then see whats going on.

As soon as I recieve an update - I'll update you accordingly.

Re: Refund for item that was taken off order due to being out of stock

Thank you, the refund is showing as credited to my credit card statement today. Does it usually take over 20 days for a refund on items taken off an invoice due to not being in stock?
