    Suggestion: share basket

    Hey.

Late night and just had idea - would it be possible for scan to come up with a 'share basket' link. Everyone on the forums pretty much refers to scan when recommending builds, the only hassle is copying the info down into a thread. Be cool if there was a link that would save a basket and so others could click on it. Just a suggestion, anyway

Precisely there is no sensitive information in a wishlist.

Something like NewEgg's public wishlist feature would be fantastic.

Here's an example: Wish list details

I could see this working well, get tired of print screening, croppin then usually uploading to photobucket.

It does seem a good idea and I am sure that David will mention it to the web team.

Alt+Print Screen will give you only the active window No need to crop unless you want to hide the tabs and favourites. If you have a webspace you could have just drag the file to FTP, copy the (pre-defined) HTTP link and paste here.

I've done it before and it only takes 12~20 seconds from pressing print-screen to posting the picture

    Re: Suggestion: share basket

I've seen this share-basket suggestion accross many company forums recently.

You'll gain sales from it, as one person specs up a pc, shares the basket, and then 5-10 people buy.
They wouldn't otherwise buy as it's a pain in the a*** typing in codes
Who has the patience to do that for 30 codes?

It will be implemented this year by a few online retailers.
it's really just a question of who's going to be the first, and whose the last
