    Q-Collect service

I've been thinking of using the Q-Collect service and was wandering what would usually be the earliest I could collect my order if I was to order early Friday morning? Would there be a chance of collecting same day?

Also, would I have to make payment when I order or when I collect my order from the shop?

And one more question, Is there any difference in price between ordering online and ordering instore?

    Many thanks

    Re: Q-Collect service

San have a good consistent price policy so its the same whether online, qcollect or instore.

qcollect payment is made at time of order

re times, depends on workloads and stock I have had things picked in 2 hours, other times after 2 days i query status as something went OOS. If its urgent check by phone after you get the invoice raised or just make the whole order on the phone, whichever is best for you.

Sorry, but we are unable to process orders via the phone ordering system for Q-Collect.

I'd always advise placing the order as soon as possible - but orders are picked very quickly... especially with new improvements which have been implemented.

Don't forget to wait for your confirmation text message on your mobile before coming to collect. (And the required form of ID)

Also, would I have to make payment when I order or when I collect my order from the shop?
When ordering - you'll need to bring the card used to verify your identity.

Retail price is the same on the web or in-store. And as you're collecting.. there's no carriage charge either

    Many thanks
    You're quite welcomed

    Re: Q-Collect service

Recent utility bill would be fine + the card you used.

    Question Re: Q-Collect service

I placed an order, using Q-collect, at about 1am this morning but have yet to receive an email confirmation or anything, is this normal? I did get the order confirmation screen when I placed the order. Also there is no mention of the order in my order history. I'm slightly concerned about this.

    Re: Q-Collect service

Email updates and account information are not updated when the offices are closed as all the data is held on the secure server until we arrive here, open and flick the switch.

As such, you should get update's shortly

    Best Regards,

I thought that was the case. I've got the email now. I have a tendancy to worry over things like this.

    Re: Q-Collect service

Is there anyway for me to check current status? (such as if the order is currently being picked now and things like that)

    Re: Q-Collect service

I have used Q-Collect since day one. The service is second to none, but cheating, i.e. turning up before reciept of the 4th email is not recommended. Sometimes, when I have been worried about the non reciept of the email, I have contacted Scan via Customer Service Query and found out why.

How long has it taken for your orders to be ready for collection?

Different orders cannot really be gauged against each other.

The reason for this is some people order items which are all in the main warehouse and as such they tend to be picked and ready in a fairly fast nature. However, others order parts which are stored at one of the other warehouses and as such these can take longer as the goods need to be transferred across and then allocated to the order.

    I hope this information helps
