Ok, so whilst it isnt the end of the world, my order I placed with scan at the weekend has been delayed.... no big deal, things cause delays all the time...
however thinking back I can think of very few scan orders I have ever placed that have actually shipped the day i placed them (weekdays) or first working day after (weekends) - and Iv been a scan customer a long time.
I almost 100% exclusively order from scan (with the exception of watercooling, ram and lian li cases) for my components, and those for people i build pc's for. Yet for some reason things never get dispatched on time unless I ring up or pm a staff member to chase it.....
I should have been able to order on a sunday and have the order come Tuesday....but unsuprisingly its gonna be wednesday again....I even factor the delay into shipping from scan - but the fact is I shouldnt have to.
I know this post seems a little random, as Im not actually mad that my order isnt coming tomorrow - Im just sad and dissapointed that scan didnt suprise me and manage what ever other etailer manages to do....ship for delivery NEXT working day
If its a staffing issue, why havent you got more staff? This isnt a recent issue - same applies for stock control or any other software issue.... its been a long term issue, and doesnt seem related to day of the week.... fact of the matter is, you order from scan and add 2 to 3 days (3 if you order on a weekday evening) for it to actually arrive at you door..... il be honest, its just as well you offer free delivery, as nobody would pay for your 'next day' citylink if you cant be relied on as a store to ship for the expected day. How are people meant to order for goods to come on their day off etc??
Your a great store, but seriously, cant you fix your shipping delays?
