I had a feeling I would be posting this after reading the many other posts recently about delayed orders.
Just received a delayed order notification. Not due to any of the items being out of stock but "due to unexpected volumes in our warehouse".
Order was placed on Monday, due for delivery tomorrow.
I placed orders with three other retailers for the rest of the items I needed. I placed these orders on Tuesday afternoon. One came today by City Link and one by Parcelforce. Last one due tomorrow. Other retailers can ship in time so why cant Scan?
Wanted everything for the new build here by Thursday but its not going to happen now. I will be without the main parts for the build.
I could have ordered everything I ordered from you from one of the other retailers I ordered from, but I decided to give you another go and order the main parts from you, even though some parts were cheaper elsewhere. Looks like I made a mistake!
Can a Scan member of staff check if this order will 100% be despatched tomorrow (Thursday) for delivery on Friday. I cannot be home on Friday so will have to make sure someone else can stay in and wait for the delivery! If not cancel the order please.
