Am i just unlucky? first time using scan

Brought aload of parts from scan for a complete new build, my first build in over 5 years.

I get it placed, paid using a finance option and then well silence, a day later i get an email from the finance company with the forms i need to sign and send off.
I get that done and more silence (no emails from scan whatsoever still)
Another email from finance a good 3-4 days later company stating order is going ahead.

A day after that my first email from scan (only because i emailed them first + numerous phone calls)
basically the delay is basically due to how finance orders work. So far enough, would of been nice to hear anything from scan thou.

My delivery date comes and goes, i ring them up, the mobo i ordered is out of stock delivery will be couple more days (would of been nice if scan email/rang me letting me know order was being delayed.

My order comes thro, very nicely packed and boxed, weeing myself with excitement i unpack it and spend the night building it.
Push the power button and everything starts up well everything but the graphics card, its deaded.
Not long put an RMA in for it, just gotta wait even longer before i get a usable PC (i cant see it RMA's being sorted out quick by anyone.)

Now i probably sound like im moaning like hell but i just cant believe my first order from scan has gone so wrong after all the praise they normally get.
O and dont get me wrong the people who work at Scan are the best

Now then i had my moan i should start to feel better and return to using my 5 year old PC for the next week or so

Finance orders are unfortunately a longer process due to their nature.

I'm sure the returns team will look after you and get the issue sorted as soon as possible.

(edit: I see they sorted collection out within 45 minutes of the issue being sorted... )

Yeah finance orders suck, and yes the mobo was sorted out quick mainly due to stock coming in that same day, maybe i aint that unlucky

Not after any help as such just needed to vent a little

O 1 thing thou i take it by the RMA email i can either let you arrange collection by city link or i can get it sorted?

guess im going to eat some humble pie
graphic card isnt dead, i manage to get it working last night
tidied all the cables up and if by magic it started working
so half of my problems with scan are my own fault so i apologise to scan for moaning
