I don't know honestly. Seems a bit unfair to be honest, as it was advertised as going up at 2pm. But I guess it saves me spending some money.

Overclockers have them both at the pre order price (albeit slightly higher some some reason) now.

I guess we are all being jerked around then. Scan are not going to have any of the G80 available because they are all spoken for by 11::00am even though the offer starts at 2pm.
Always though the best marketing offers for public relations are those that make 200 people happy and piss off 2000 LOL.

Quite disappointed. Just managed to order a GD65 from Overclockers for the promo price. Let's see if it turns up or not. Would have much prefered a GD80
I expected each of the retailers to have at least like maybe 100 mobos of each type? And numbers like "30" have been thrown around? I think it's a bit bad of MSI to drum up this much hype to only be supplying than many boards. But I suppose every man and his dog are familiar with their boards now, so it's all good for them. And this timing thing just makes no sense what so ever
Anyway, I may still have got a cheap board (god knows with Overclockers), so I won't complain too much
That really is very annoying. It's all well and good to only have a very limited stock and operate a first-come-first-served policy, but when you start offering it to 'selected' customers 3 hours before, it appears rather unprofessional

The Promotion will be 1st come 1st served on limited numbers of MSI motherboards
The G80 will have less allocation than the G65 boards orders will be taken after 2pm today.
None are allocated already we have and will not take orders till after 2PM for promotion Stock!

He said all the
GD80's had been allocated and only the GD65's would be available at 2pm....
Come on guys i drove from oldham 1st thing and get fed this rubbish over the counter....
They will be listed for sale on the Scan website at 14:00? Or should we order by phone?

Very confused now...I see that the price of the GD80's is now around £86...if I (pre) order one of these now, will that guarantee the promo pricing (i.e. has this surfaced 2 hours early?)
Because at 9 this morning that was the correct information on the G80 boards stock has just be confirmed by the suppliers hence I had to get the information. This information has been made aware to ALL retailers.
