Which is fine by me There's no point hopping around vendors. It still looks like XFX will ship first, although everything points to Nvidia organising a global launch date of 7th June, so don't be suprised if things slip another week.

Thats what happens with a pre-order. Better to do that than do it when the goods arrive and maybe have your card fail and then miss out.

This is not true, you have placed an order understanding there is an unknown lead time. Normally when you order goods your card is charged before they are delivered.

They dont deliver the goods then charge your card.
