Samsung Spinpoint F1 hard disks at sensible prices. Only one UK supplier has these fabulous HDs. They are 334gb per platter for the 1TB drive and if priced like they are supposed to retail for, would fly off the shelves. They are also quiet and COOL running and economical. Basically just the HD anyone would want in a media center PC.

Actually a 2nd UK supplier is listing these now (or the 750gb ones) with a stock date in about 10 days IIRC. Again price isnt great bearing in mind that Samsung are normally one of the cheaper HDs (as well as one of the better ones!!). I'm waiting for Scan to stock myself.

What about the Artic Cooling range of fans? They pack a 6 year warranty and seem to be decent.
I have been very impressed by the Freezer 7 Pro so why not the fans?!

Any chance of selling the Cooler Master Cavalier 3 (Black version) with a side window? The reason for asking is that I was looking at reviews for this case and one of them had it with a window, which looked quite nice

Some other memory that ISN'T Corsair.

I know this will go absolutely nowhere but its worth another go. Whwnever this mentioned its either silence from Scan or someone says how its the best. Lets face it its not! and its just the affialation that forces you to say that.

I hate spending my cash anywhere else but i refuse to have only Corsair to choose from. If it was the best i wouldnt mind. Seeing how its no better or worse than Geil/OCZ/G-Skill/Crucial thats why i wont pay a small premium to get no improvement over anyone elses brand.

Agreed, it's so frustrating that when buying parts form Scan you are forced to shop elsewhere for something as common as memory. To not have the various different brands that enthusiasts use is simply sub-par. I haven't bought Corsair in years, they're generally more expensive than other brands for similar or worse performance.
