I know, I like Scan though, but there are so many things that I buy that I am forced to buy elsewhere - My current Ram, Graphics Cards, Monitor and Keyboard all had to be bought elsewhere because Scan didnt have them. Well, the keyboard is now back in stock, but wasnt when I ordered mine which just despatched yesterday for £1 less so

If they liked us back they'd give us a choice of ram other than pushing Corsair into our face. All my main parts are from elsewhere too only because they couldn't take my payment, I've only got drives from them but thats okay as there's always rexo if I need my RMA

Crucial = Best option for ram as it's got the UK lifetime warranty so you can buy it from anywhere

I'd love to see some more server components; more supermicro chassis and parts, more server motherboards, cables.. especially MiniSAS for raid.

Re: SCAN2HEXUS : Recommend products to us :)

I would like to see Scan have a larger DDR2 and DDR3 offering base. I have seen many sites offer 8GB and even 16GB memory kits. It would be handy if scan also looked into this area as well.

Apart from this minor detail , Scan rules.

16GB? what is it good for....

The performance gap between 4GB and 8GB is small enough already.
    Scan FTW

For people who utilise it, just because you don't doesn't mean others do the same as well.

Re: SCAN2HEXUS : Recommend products to us :)

I'd actually really like to see Scan do bundles, there aren't any you do that i'm aware of.

I say this because many other sites offer these so-called bundles, which save you money, but sometimes dont give you a greatly thouughtout bundle, so feel that if Scan offered this sort of thing, it would be much more worthwhile.

What i meen is the sort of Motherboard + CPU bundle, where they are tested and chosen as a very good combination, you could then have a Motherboard + CPU Bundle + Ram, or with a heatsink or GFX card etc.

Purchasers would know they are getting a great combination from products which will work well together, because we have a lot of trust in you, but also get so save money, by buying these products in a bundle, rather than seperate idea.

    Just some thoughts : )

Just send your request to the usual address.

TodayOnly often has bundles - in fact every day there's a bundle of some sort on "MixIt" - and many times some have appeared with enough requests on "SuperSavers".

In fact - we've done bundles of one sort or another for at least the last 8 years or so, that I'm aware of
