Switch card problems with Internet Orders

Switch card problems with Internet Orders...

To cut a long story short, the online ordering system seems to reject my switch card if I enter the issue number which is 0.

Card only seems to get accepted if I phone up Scan and get someone to punch it in manually.

Don't experience this problem on Amazon etc.

Might be a glitch in the online ordering software?

A couple of further details to help you in your investigations:

    1. The order is certainly placed eg. basket, checkout, invoice number etc but at stage 2 or stage 3 (or whatever it is), the card doesn't get approved.

    2. The first time it happened, someone from Scan phoned me up and said I had missing details ie the issue number of my switch card. When I told him 0 and he punched it in, it worked fine. 0 is default on the drop down menu when entering credit card details.

    3. Has happened a couple of times now.

    4. Credit cards (non-switch card) are fine.

It's being checked into at the moment, but if you contact the sales team in the meantime... they'll be able to look after you.

    Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, its no problem - customer services have been pretty good in the past in dealing with phone orders, so I phoned them up to authorise my card - only took a couple of minutes.
