Confirm warrenty Maxtor DiamondMax 10 250GB

Can you confirm that the info on your site re the warrenty on the Maxtor DiamondMax 10 250GB SATA 16mb is wrong at 1 year?linky

Research shows that for some reason there is only a year warrenty on the retail packs and 3 years on the OEM bare drives linky

Before I go and buy it I want to make sure that it has 3 years on it otherwise it will have to be another drive..1 year just shows lack of confidence in the drive by the manufacturer IMHO

hmmm when i got my maxtor 200gb DM10 sata a month ago, it was 1 Year, confirmed by maxtor themselves using the serial number on the webby and on the phone.


but scan came to the rescue and change my drives for seagates.
