Can't be wrong when it feels so right

Sure you have enough CPUs, few more wouldn't hurt?

Bet you buy 100s of pairs of socks, returning all but the 4 most comfortable pairs too.

@ Scan - any chance you can take another quick peek at the 146 CABYE CPUs to ascertain the last part of the stepping (after 0540) as it seems there are both FPMW & FPBWs out in the wild?

    TIA

The email I have from the person who checked shows they are with the code FPMW at the end

jsut buy one, its a cabye 0540...what more you want man and its in stock and ready to ship. there is no way of garauntee that you will get a 0540 anyway... as the supplier might have got different batches from AMD.

just go and buy for £105 its worth it.

    Best Regards,
    Beautiful.

Not quite enough results in on both to make a definitive assessment but DFX at XS forums is priming at 3GHz with 1.425V (CPU-Z, not BIOS) on air (not great air either - Coolermaster Hyper 6) with 3.5GHz under his Vapo.
Seems to be superior to the results posted by Eva2000 with his 2 FPBWs.

No worries, the order's in, just debating whether I want to add a few more to it.

yes i know, but as they confirmed the stepping, year/month and batch num... u still not garanteed to get it, there may be a few of those steppings, there may be some cabges in the stock as well, you wont know untill u opened the citylink pak. unless they scan has stated it on their webby as ***CABYE 0540 FPMW*** which they havient its pure luck......
