Well, it's disappointing to say the least... I only ordered on the 31st of Oct. so I'm not that surpised (although reading of people who ordered yesterday has got my goat somewhat), however I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for people who pre-ordered weeks ago.
I little word from Scan wouldn't go amiss, especially on when they're expecting more stock on the 146.
they get stock every tueday IIRC, as the should of been a batch for last tuesday, but it didnt come so it was in the batch yesterday... therefore think u will going to wait anotehr week.

I have to say I am certainly happier now that my chip has shipped but ordering it on the 21st Oct then seeing people order on the day they came in and get them next day does smart a bit. I hope all those who pre-orderd get there chip with a nice stepping code.

1) Do SCAN actually charge you before they have stock or do they wait until they have stock & then try to process payment?
If they do that then some may fail due to payment problems.
2) It wasn't the only thing that I was ordering, in fact only a small part of the order.
As a business they may say £100 order or £X00s order?
Whilst I appreciate what you are saying perhaps you can appreciate that from my point of view it is good service to me?
they charge before stock comes in at least in my case. I cant speak for others, but i would suspect its the same
as for point 2 i could totally accept that, but they do state its on a first come first served basis
and yes i agree with you it is good service from your point of view.
i got charged on the day i ordered 24th oct, and it was processed yesterday, still waiting on city link now.

In scans defense they did say they had a few staff off hence the delay in your order being picked and dispatched
Has anyone else actually received the "order delayed due to no stock" email, or is it just me?
I got charged on the day of order to, the 22nd! it is a bit off that we who pre-ordered and payed over a week ago have recieved nothing, not even an explanatory e-mail, and people people who ordered yesterday already have theirs. I don't mind that people ordered and got theirs,good on them, i'm annoyed at Scan.

Well out of nowhere, when all seemed lost, I've just had confirmation of despatch for my 146!!This after I received the "delayed due to no stock" email late last night. Maybe they've had a secondary delivery this afternoon? Or found some more tucked away in a corner somewhere?! Either way, I'm a very happy bunny now
Just got to go around cancelling all my 144 orders now... lol... I hope the rest of you guys get the despatch email soon
