who has received useful free gifts from scan

i for one have.... got TDK bluetooth dongle thing and an 80mm fan (no so useful cos case i have only holds 120) but still good free gifts..

lol wooow! Just opened my Asus A8N-SLi Premium package and found a "bluetooth enabler" for PalmV/VX and IBM Workpad C3! Not that I have either of them but that's beside the point How much do Scan rock exactly?

i think scan shud think about what they are sending if someone is ordering a pc system dont send them stuff for palm and if someone orders a palm send the palm stuff.. then u would not getting ppl getting a great product form scan but not having hardware to use it.

Personally i dont think you should look a gift horse in the mouth.

Scan already offer us a free delivery service which im sooo impressed with.

I ordered an Epson R200 the other day for £59 including the free delivery, IT ARRIVED NEXT DAY !!!!!

Damn i was so impressed.

So the moral is: dont moan about free stuff as they can just as easily take the free delivery away and they certainly dont have to give you free gifts either.

Hi,

The most useful i have found is the PCI ADSL modem that sometimes is bundled as a free gift, although most people have router, these are really good for a backup use or if your mum wants adsl and has no modem... i used one for quite a while and never had 1 issue with it..

I had some cheapish head phones from scan about 2 1/2 years ago. They were pretty useful when watching stuff late at night in bed as they have a 5m cable.

Still working on finding a use for the bluetooth dongle though.

Anyway it's all good as it's free stuff, yay.
