    Bought k8n neo 4 platinum - received neo 4 f in tatty platinum box..

    Hello

    Yesterday i ordered a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum - LN9000

    Today i received a tatty box (looks used, as a tear already had selotape over it) - the board inside is an MSI K8N Neo 4-F - LN10553

    The board i have received should match this:

    MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum, ATX, DDDR400, PCI-E, 2x Gbit Lan, USB 2.0, 1394, 7.1Ch Audio, 4 x SATA, Raid

    However, there is no firewire, no dual lan, and the bottom of the board the sticker says K8N Neo 4 F.

    I'm not happy about this on two fronts - firstly, i seem to have been given a returned board or at least box, and secondly, it's the wrong board!

    I've always been impressed with you guys in the past and know you'll sort this out - thanks.

    Thanks - it is also missing the 'd-bracket 2' - which according to the outer box (and my prior research) should be included.

    The serial number on the box doesn't match the serial number on the board either.

    This is very strange, each item is carefully tracked throughout its history in scan, even if a member of staff has borrowed the item to check specs or look at something etc. This motherboard has absolutely no movement at all except us purchasing it in October and selling it to you yesterday.


    The picker should also have stopped the item from being completed and quarantined it in the condition you state, even if for some reason this was overlooked it should have been rejected by the despatch team as they were packing it. All of which seems to have failed.

    Were currently sorting this for you now and you should receive all of the RMA instruction / collection emails soon.

    I will also pass this over to our Customer Service Manager to investigate what seems to be a failing of all our internal fail safes.
