    Not happy... to Extremely Happy...

Arrived today everything came in great order but the most fragile thing came NOT BUBBLEWRAPPED they were 2 x UV caths and guess what - one is broken in the middle the cathode is "snapped". I'm not very please and am VERY annoyed I will have to RMA this back because it wasnt bubblewrapped - costing me more money in return costs because of lack of care. I usually love scan but this takes the biscuit.

I thought there would of been some more care... Disappointed in Scan not like then. Usually very very pleased.

Watch the video of the cath here: http://www.zippyvideos.com/774911013...th_no_scan_nh/ (800KB)

    Hi TelefragX

Sorry to hear about the sharkoon UV's being broken in transit.

I've assigned your invoice to the claims department, and they have told me to tell you they're sending another one out for you shortly

    Best Regards,

    No Worries

The Sharkoon kits great for the price. I added 2 to my chassis over the last week and now my room glows especially all the white items and wallpaper

Small add-on - They arrived this morning great all bubblewrapped this time they look amazing in my new thermaltake armour which was a pain in the butt to install but its all done and looks amaing - here are 3 videos zipped of my new rig:

    http://www.savefile.com/files/5539575 (1.34MB)

You will see the final video is all complete and has both UV caths in. Everything but 3 items were purchased from Scan for the great after sales service and fast delivery! Recommended! OH and cheap competitive prices!

    Thanks Again Scan! (thumbs up)

The UV Caths used in the case are from scan (at current) the price for 2 is £5.86 GREAT VALUE and from a good brand "Sharkoon"! Get them from here: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=337873

Personally I couldn't be happier with Scan at the moment, a Recent order arrived (an MP3 Player) with the screen looking like something had been dropped on it, so a couple of E-mails and it's being returned free of charge. Great service from the company, and a plesant change after, let's just say "Hostile" returns with companies in the past.

Factor in the friendly staff and I remember why I used Scan in the first place.

    Yep!

I ordered an LG DVD-RAM drive a few weeks back and the bubble wrap was tremendous!

    Very well protected indeed

    Nice video's

I'll attempt to try and capture my system in the dark to show you as the Akasa UV reactive SATA2 cables don't 1/2 glow like theres no tomorrow and all my extra cards in the system have a green erry glow to the topedge of them and the SLI bridge glows like theres no tomorrow.

I went a bit OTT and installed 2 packs to my desktop MCE rig ( so thats 4 UV cathodes ) and also added a set to my isotope as well.
