    RMA Refund coming up short ?

    I checked my visa account today & see i have been refunded £76.25 for a faulty gyration keyboard setup I sent back. However, I paid £84.72 for the goods. As I get free delivery I was wondering why the difference in refund amount ?

    Hi there,

    Sorry about this, there seems to have been a re-stocking fee applied, however this was a mistake and you should in fact have received a full refund as the item was returned as faulty.

    Your query has already been updated for the remaining amount to be refunded back to your credit card.

    Can I just ask, under what circumstances do Scan charge a restocking fee?

    I believe i may have had the same issue as i originally paid 244.36 for my xfx 7800gt but i only received back 183.29 could one of you guys look into this for me please, i have only just noticed

    Edit: just to note i think i was refunded the replacement card (classed on a different invoice no) i had had off you which was also faulty, instead of the original order.

    If the item was returned within 7 days not faulty not in it the original condition ie, not in its original box a restocking fee maybe applied. If the item is unsaleable the item may be rejected.

    Each RMA would be evaluated individually by our Returns dept.

    The refund for the additonal amount was completed yesterday, this will be reflected in your account within 3 working days of yesterday.
