[UPDATE] I've just checked with the Intel suppliers we have and the pricing and release dates are still under NDA which some seem to have broken.

As such we cannot show these until the NDA ends I'm afraid.

    Best Regards,

I would rather just have a 'Next in stock' date rather than a pre-order date like the other 'place'. They just overcharge for pre-order stuff and on the forums give you the impression that they will be in stock very soon when in fact scan will proberbly get them in before them and cheaper.

Overclockers always brake NDA cause they think they are above them - and everytime they get loads of press over it.

They tend to be very fast but unreliable. Horrible BIOS problem etc.

i gad one myself and built a rig for my mate with one in, both got RMA'd eventually. it was just impossible to use them as everyday boards.

I'm not getting it - what's the point of having an NDA if you do not punish the people who break it? As far as I can tell, OCUK have taken plenty of orders for Conroe's and seem to be suffering no consequences from either Intel or their suppliers, so what's stopping everyone else? I've dealt with them quite a bit, and whilst their CS is very lacking, their pre-order system works well and I always get the stuff I want - just pray you don't have to send it back

    Pity

I was gonna get a Conroe on launch, but I think now I'm gonna wait until the major price gouging calms down and get a cheap(er) E6700 together with the unannounced DFI 975X Lanparty board in September... seems wiser than plumping for a half-ass board that I'll grow to loathe!

Unless Scan have nice pricing of course

Same here, it looks very impressive and will hopefully be competitively priced.

Maybe if they were actually punished for breaking their NDA they'd think twice before doing it.

Can't believe DFI get so much stick, I have 2 lanparty boards and have used one for build for a mate and have never had any issues. They have been some of the most reliable boards I've owned.
