    that is true, but i waited 3 months for core 2 duo, i was going to go for an athlon x2. I just want to replace my antique, and as the 24th drew nearer my excitement began to rise, hopefully it'll be within the week.

    Damn, this Conroe shortage is frustrating. I've been waiting for 2 months since I dumped my old system and have been relying on my laptop and my bro's athlon xp 2000+ and a 5700LE. Its a good thing that I've kept myself busy otherwise I would have gone crazy sitting there waiting for this processor.

    my Opteron 175 won't be leaving my room until I get my conroe , then it goes about 10m to my brothers room

    but it only has one core.... lol . I don't have any spare CPUs lieing about since the ones I have had in the past (which does include a venice) are sitting in boxes either at my house or at my friends houses.
