is this the part Here that you are enquiring about ?
If so, these were due to arrive on the 24th but as yet have not arrived or been booked in I'm afraid.
As yet - theres no update on these from XFX.
Best Regards,
Hi there.
I thought it would only be fair to point out to you that, if you are considering it for gaming, there will be absolutely no benefit whatsoever from the extra 256 MB over the regular version, and you would be wasting your money.
The 256MB version at £66 is a very good card. £95.18 for the same level of performance is not.
Sorry Scan guys, not trying to lose you money, but we all know that "512MB" at this level is pure marketing and no real world benefit.

- Another poster, from another forum.I'm commenting on an internet forum. Your facts hold no sway over me.
System as shown, plus: Microsoft Wireless mobile 4000 mouse and Logitech Illuminated keyboard.
Sennheiser RS160 wireless headphones. Creative Gigaworks T40 SII. My wife. My Hexus Trust
Yes a 7600GT can be had from other retailers for under £95 which is a better card
I agree
512mb of video memory is a waste. Any game setting that needs that much texture memory the core couldn't play at a decent frame rate anyway.
Thats right, the card isn't powerful enought to utilize 512mb of memory. I have an x1800xt and there is almost no improvment in performance between the 256mb and 512mb version at a resolution of 1280x1024.
