Internal connection question

Item LN2576. I'm not taking any account of what the picture appears to show, does this have an internal connection for the individual pins from a front firewire port, not (just) a 'normal' external firewire port?

According to the specs and the manufacturers part code, that card has 3 External connections and 1 internal connection.

But is the internal the same type as the external or is it the connection for pins?
