Unhappy Please help me Scan! Im a Muppet "My BIG 3D Card Problem"

I am a bit of a Muppet as I have just bought a new Gainward GeForce 7950GT Golden Sample 256MB PCIE Dual DVI for my new Shuttle XPC Barebone SK22G2.

But in my excitement i didn’t think to check if it would fit before i bought it and guess what it doesn't!

Can anyone recommend any ideas on what i should do next?
e.g. Find out if scan can exchange the 3D card for a smaller card that is the same value?

    Thanks

    Smoj

where doesn't it fit? Maybe you could fit a smaller heatsink if it doesn't fit because of its dual slot config

I was not to woried about the heatsink and fan hanging out of the shuttle, but because the 3D card is so big it has a PCI back plate the size of 2 slots so the side wall of the shuttle stops it from fitting

But do you reccomend any graphics cards with the same or similar performance as the Gainward 7950GT that would fit in my new Shuttle XPC Barebone SK22G2?

all the other 7950gts afaik use single slot coolers.

The cooler on the leadtek ones look a bit quieter that the standard one

There ought to be no reason why not - Leadtek generally produce pretty much reference designs at reasonable cost (not a crack against them, like Inno3D, they do a good job of it and provide a lot of value), so that ought to be a bog stock single slot jobby with a pretty much reference cooler.

Yeh i hope it will fit because i recently bought a Gainward 7950GT Golden sample and it doesn't fit in my shuttle xpc.

As it was a two slot card but from the picture of the leadtek it looks like a singal slot card.

    thanks

The leadtek card looks like it should fit as Nicho pointed out they produce cards as near to the standard reference design as possible.

    Best Regards,
