    Ergotron LX Desk Mount (BLACK)

    I see Scan stocks the Ergotron LX Desk Mount in Silver[LN12997] but am wondering if there are any plans to stock the LX Desk Mount in BLACK?

    I know of 2 other suppliers who can get stock on 20/11 or 23/11. Each is competitively priced and I'd imagine Scan may have to wait until then also and may not get the economy of scale of other suppliers (one of whom I know buys in batches of 10 not 100), so I'd be interested to see what price and availability Scan might offer.

    The 2 competitors are: Media Atlantic 20/11 £134.61 inc VAT and
    More Computers 23/11 £123.55 inc VAT

    seems strange that you stock the silver but not the black.....and that you are a named retailer on the ergotron site and therefore I would expect to be able to buy any product in the range.

    It would appear nobody in the UK stocks this product at the moment.

    I am disappointed as on the Ergotron site Scan are named as a retailer/e-tailer and you do stock the other colour but as my desk frame is 2" x 1.5" black powder coated steel and my TFT and comp case is black, black is the colour I need.

    I contacted Ergotron and they suggested I contact Spire Technology [distributor] but they have refused to entertain me as I am not a reseller. It would appear there are no retailers able to supply this product in the UK.

    It is frustrating when nobody wants to sell me something.

    Don't bother stocking them. I have one (the silver one) and its max weight is 9.4kg, yet with my eizo 21.1" (5.4kg) it's virtually unmovable as it seems stressed by the weight.
