I have ordered from scan 4 times and parts have arrived within 2 days and well packaged. I have been happy. I am not in the loyalty scheme.
This week i ordered a part as the item was in stock and order was authorized on the Tuesday 14th and email that steps 1 and 2 had completed.
' The estimated despatch date of your order is 15 Nov 2006 for a next business day delivery, unless you have specifically requested a saturday delivery. We will aim to meet the estimated time of arrival calculated at the point your order was placed. This is subject to stock availability and fluctuating volume of sales. If there are any delays in your order, we will send further email notification '
Now it got to Thursday. I should of had the part on the Wednesday and i had no email notifications from scan. It was now Friday. I had still no delivery and no confirmation so i rang scan up and was told they experiencing a delay. I never got no notification at all. I was then told it would be a Monday delivery. So instead of the 2 days its taken a week. I then told im put on prority and just after i phoned i get a notification. I am dissapointed i been waiting all this time and had to contact scan.
In light of this, I don't think it would of been beyond scan that they could of offered as a good gesture or some compensation from I been kept in the dark and late delivery to send out the part for the delivery of Saturday so i not kept further waiting.
There was with no notification on your website or by email.
