£114.24 to spend at scan on mobo and memory.....

ok, so I'm just filling up my basket at scan with some parts to put my new rig together.

    So far I have got:

    Silverstone PS-01B-W "Precision" Tower Case Black with Window Side Panel w/o PSU + 700W FSP700-8 £59.00 £69.33

    Samsung SH-S203P 20x DVD±R, 8x DVD±DL, DVD+RW x8/-RW x6, x12 DVD-RAM SATA Lightscribe Black OEM + 5 £13.99 £16.44

I'm really struggling to decide on the ram and the mobo.

Can anyone recommend some from the today only list?

I've got a PCI-E X1950XTX and an Intel 2160 cpu, so the mobo will need to be socket 775, the card is HUGE so I will need room behind the PCI-E Slot.

Bearing in mind the next thing I upgrade will be the CPU I need to get some ram and a mobo that will be ready for it.

So to sum up, please chose me a mobo and ram from the today only section at scan that doesn't cost more than £114.24 but is as good as possible

Was tempted to put this in GD as I really need to decide before the offers end.

    Cheers for any advice!

    DJ

why does the mobo have to come from the Today Only section (that currently limits you to Asus products)?
what features do you need/want (RAID firewire etc.)?

    MSI P55-GD80, i5 750
    abit A-S78H, Phenom 9750,

hehe I guess it doesnt have to be from today only

Like I said in the other thread.... I'm an idiot lol

I need PCI-E with a lot of room that is the main thing

I've not so far had use for RAID or Firewire. I would like to make it so that I don't have to change my mobo or ram for a long time. Assuming I don't want nephalm or whatever its called.

    Cheers,

    DJ
