    Overclockers Order Help

Before I start, I dont want any flaming of Overclockers in this thread. Keep what you thing of them to yourselves. I want some help here.

Right. I bought a B Grade Antec Aria Micro ATX Cube Case from Overclockers over the weekend. The order was confirmed and the money was taken from my bank account. However, I got an email this morning saying that someone else ordered it and it has been shipped to them.

OCUK have the same case, in stock, but not B Grade. As my order was accepted, confirmed, and I have been charged, am I entitled to anything other than a refund? (eg one of the non-B Grade cases.

Also in the order was a mATX motherboard. Without the case, I don't need the motherboard. Will they let me cancel the order for the motherboard and refund me, if they cant find me a suitable replacement case?

    Thanks

Am I right in thinking that if they have accepted and confirmed the order, and also charged me, that a legal contract has been formed and they have to send me a replacement case? They have the case in their normal case section. It's in stock so I'm trying to get them to send me one of those instead.

I agree about a contract as payment was taken. An anaology, a recent purchase of a hd went through, during pick found that it was out of stock(somebody ordered same time, there was only 2) customer service told me that because payment had not been taken, there was no contract, so no other hd was offered. Actual legal input would be helpful

I'm in college now but I'll phone them on my next break. I'm not happy about this though as I dont need the motherboard if I dont have the case. I actually found an mATX board in my attic after ordering, so I didnt really need it anyway.

Hehe. This is my first time using them as well. I only went with it as it was so cheap. I cant find any other mATX cube cases for less than £65 . I was trying to build a media centre pc on a budget.

I also tried to register on their forums to send Gibbo a PM but my account hasnt been activated yet.

no, they don't HAVE to supply you with a case, they can simply refund you, the money you paid. if you ask nicely they may honour the order and give you a new case but i doubt it, as they will make a loss and as you said, this is your first order with them.

Yeah. They have said they will refund me for the case and give me free shipping for my next order with them. I'm still stuck with an mATX motherboard I dont need though. Anyone want to buy it?

I ordered the same B-Grade case, along with a couple other B-Grade items, but have yet to hear anything from them regarding the order. That was actually my 2nd order, I put in another earlier on in the day then noticed more stuff I wanted later, so put in the 2nd.

My 1st order is due to arrive today - the tracking info says it is currently on the delivery van - and with exception to an £8 Pioneer DVDRW, everything should be there. It will interesting to see what condition all the stuff is in as it is all B-Grade.

Apparently there was a problem with their system over the weekend whereby it wasn't removing the item(s) from stock once someone purchased one i.e. if they had 5 Asus A8N-SLI Premium motherboards for £30, if 10 people ordered them it would still be listed as in stock - thankfully I was lucky enough to get one
