    Decent computer shop in London?

    Hi,

I need to get my hands on a decent 500W ATX 2.o PSU today.
Does anyone know of any decent computer store in London that sell decent kit?
I've looked at PCWORLD and their selection isn't that good.

    Any ideas?

    thanks

Yup I was gonna suggest Yoyotech. You can also mention the price online is cheaper than instore and they would usually match it (to include postage costs too - it will be a handling fee instead)

I picked up a Arctic Cooling freezer64 pro for £13.99.

The thing is, I've noticed a lot of their stock is purchased directlly from Scan, so why not cut out the middleman, so to speak and buy from Scan as well

If you live in London it's a lot quicker and easier to get an urgent item from them instead of Scan in Bolton . Also, I noticed their OCZ Reaper 4Gig PC8500 RAM kits are notably cheaper than other places on the web. Wish I had checked before ordering from OCuk!

Re: Decent computer shop in London?

There are a load of shops along the Tottenham Court road.

Would definitely reccomend haggling with all of them. If one does the PSU you want at a good price go to another store and try and get it cheaper.

I went into GHS Technology and they had the PSU i wanted (Corsair 620w Modular) marked up as £110.

I said it was £80 on the web and they eventually did it for £85 (after checking internet prices).

You will probably have to pay a bit over the internet price but when you factor in postage it doesn't come out too bad - especially if you want it that day.
