    Second hand or refurbished laptops?

    I need a good place to buy second hand / refurbished laptops from. We bought one from www.laptopshop.co.uk but the service was absolutely appalling. We bought one from them in October, it was faulty. Fair enough, these things happen. Sent it back on October 24th, it's still there after having several phone calls, promised deadlines missed and conflicting information told to us.

    Anyway, I digress.

    Can anyone recommend a good company to buy refurb/used laptops from? As it will be the company I work for buying them, the seller needs to be a UK VAT registered company, and not sell their stuff exclusively via ebay / paypal I'm aware of several ebay sellers, but we can't buy from them - no exception.

    Double check the battery guarantee. When I looked at some a while ago, the battery was exempt, can cost a lot if they go wrong.

    How much are you wanting to spend? If around £300 then Dell and PC World often sell laptops around this price.
