I don't understand all the Hype about Halo 3?? Its just seems like a nice multiplayer FPS. Last time I checked according to EGM and EPIC survey conducted with online multiplayer registration count, like less than 20% of the gamers out there ever play multiplayer FPS.
I think Halo3 is just being hyped too much, it will do just a little bit better than Halo 2 did, I mean that market is capped to a specific target audience.
I do love Halo, but there are loads of other really great games out there as well.
They've ploughed so much money into this one in particular that we'll be getting Halo rammed down our throats constantly.

I'll bet some of those in the queue have a job, and are using holiday/sickness time off, daft idiots.
Why don't they just pre-order it from a mail order company? Bizzare, I've pre-ordered it with GAME, and they usually ship it so you get it the day before release. With Halo 3 it might be a different matter though, but I hope not.
I think some of those queuing will be doing it for the enjoyment of being in a like minded crowd (apparently some turn into parties with entertainment laid on). Some may be in the queue so early to get their 15 minutes of fame when the TV crews turn up to film these nutters for the 'people' section in the local news.
Also ,I suppose, it will depend on where you live/work as to whether or not you would queue for so long. For instance, if you live in sunny California, as this lot do, it wouldn't really be a hardship, but can you see people going to this extreme in Alaska?
I do think that bizzare sums it up quite well.
I hope they delay the release date by a month....that'd teach 'em, lazy bums....
