    Do you enjoy your job?

Following on from "What do you do as a Job", is "Do you enjoy your Job?"

I've spoken to a number of people who do their job, but its not really anything to them..it pays the bills and that'll do them fine, which is fair enough I guess.

Having said that, theres some people I talk to who love their job loads and loads, and look forward to going into work every day, which is also fair enough, and personally, sounds like a better way to do it, but thats just opinion and not fact in any way.

Where do you stand between those two goalposts?

I quite like it. There can be really boring and mundane tasks, but most of the time it's okay.

My part-time work is better though.

Yep, I like my job. On average I only work 2-3 days a week - those are intense bursts of effort so I do have to work hard for my salary. I get to meet customers from around the world and learn a lot about other industries. When i'm not at a customer site i'm at home so I get plenty of free time to pursue my hobbies.

Why don't you people get new jobs then? If it's that bad, surely you should change your career?

I love my job, always doing something different each day which is good because I absolutely hate repetition in the workplace!

I do however hate office politics with a passion

Hate getting up for work, hate the commute.......and that all (combined with the fact I also hate London) culminates in the fact I hate my job. The change of management 2 years ago didn't help, neither is the constant threats/talks of further job "off-shoring"

Been looking for a job back home in Devon for over 4 years now and its always a case of:

    - No jobs
    - Over qualified
    - 3 months notice is way too long
    - Taking a job that pays peanuts and will frustrate me in the first week

    Oh well, almost home time......
