    Intel invited a bunch of hacks to bow down and stare in wonder at the new, faster Skulltrail enthusiast gaming platform. The eight-core monster packs in SLI-supporting tech and purports to be the finest gaming platform since, well, ever.

    I wonder just how many people have £5,000 or so to drop on a gaming rig. Surely diminishing returns is massive factor when you can get quad core and high end SLI for a good bit under £2,000.

    It is the same as the people who weren't going to buy Extreme Editions or 8800 Ultras... they do exist!

    yup, tis true...think of the folks who are GIVEN or get for very cheap, dual 8800 ultras to bench who complain theyre cpu limited..... this should be there answer - 3dmark records will fall, but I wont be buying one
