They are missing a trick here. They should re-release the DVD and include the top 20 as bonus features/extras!

I actually read an interview with the director of this the other week. He said he loved the parodies and watches loads every week, guess the suits are just riding roughshod over the talent again.
I agree completely with the article, they're well within their rights on the IP front but you've got to wonder why they're doing it. This cant be a threat to their bottom line(in fact I'd wager it probably helped a bit). Shame.
Ah the actual video featured on here has already been taken off-line, pathetic
I thought satire and parody were protected ?
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Although I saw the film shortly before any parodies I would've definitely checked the film out if I hadn't BECAUSE of the parodies. They're just hurting themselves for the possibility of the above with other people and because people don't like petty actions like taking down parodies of short clips that will in no way reduce sales of a now quite old film. What next, Weird Al having all his stuff banned because the tunes are the same but the lyrics are parodies? (I don't know if he pays royalties or whatever but you get the idea)
Hexus did a bit of a noob move by embedding the playlist rather than linking to it, since people tend to not notice/click through stuff like that e.g. little arrows on the sides of the screen as the replies saying "the video" (singular) is missing on this thread show
And yeah, it's ridiculous, the amount of film shown is tiny and it's basically free trailer/advertising for them... However I think the problem might be lawyers, not sure if Germany has anything like the US law where companies can lose copyright if they don't take action against violations that are known to them? Forgot the proper word for it, not due diligence something similar.

Given how this is a favourite of the chan tards, I wonder how long before they do a posting flood of videos mocking the suites decisions to have them all pulled.
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
Looks like one has already been made about it:

This is why the copyright laws really frustrate me! How are they loosing anything over those videos being up!?
