I like Windows 7. Perhaps WP7 is a solid improvement.
But, Stephen Fry? How much was he paid for this?! This is the same Fry who spat (literally) on Microsoft's name in Room 101?

it is entirly possible.... with someone as well know as stephen fry it is the perfect person to try and get on your side, I doubt hes been paid (bar the phone as previously stated) because most people will change their mind and this is a whole new OS remember... its not windows mobile 6.5 or 6.5.5(which i love at the minute ).
Stephen Fry's a technology enthusiast and is particularly geeky about phones - he loves his iPhone, Blackberry and Android - so whilst I'm surprised Microsoft managed to snag him, I'm not really surprised he's doing this!
edit: PS I greatly enjoyed the splendidly punworthy title of the article.

Good video!
He clearly likes his gadgets and blogs. I wonder what he thinks of the Windows 7 GUI.
Fry claims, between 2:10 and 2:20, that he hasnt been paid.
Clarkson makes a similar point when he reviewed a Vauxhall VXR a couple of years ago. You get in the car, turn the key and have fun. When compared to for example a modern Mitsubishi EVO that you have to tell it what setting you want to use before you set off or spend hours fine tuning the cars' handling, speed, comfort etc... on the LCD display instead of actually having fun and driving the car.
