Woah! This is like when GDI and NOD joined forces to defeat the Scrin. (Or was it Allied and Soviet against Rising Sun?)
It is my opinion that they have been shooting themselves in the foot for years by not pursuing a more open approach to sli, I had a crossfire capable board a little while ago, and although I never used that feature it would have been nice to simply pop in another geforce, but because I couldn't they lost a sale from me, and I simply went and got an ati card.

finally some hope for AMD users! I might have to invest
i wonder if intels and nvidias past disagreements have had anything to do with it?
Seems unlikely but i would like to think Nvidia know more than we do and their trust in the competitive values of bulldozer should be taken as a good sign for the platform.
