The iPad3 was replaced quickly!!
I had to read it twice before I figured out that they announced 2 ipads.
Someone I know picked up ipad 3 today.
How much money do Apple need?
There devices become obsolete so quickly.
Excelent, quality, cheap, good
And the new ipad too!
Not to mention the new imac, mac mini, and 13" retina macbook pro
Slimmer than a Galaxy S3..
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
I guess from a consistency and accessories POV it makes sense, the A6 (being so much better CPU wise than the A5) and lightning connector made the iPhone 5 an odd range partner with the iPad3, and having a different connector on current and shipping models of iPad would have been daft.
They really should have discounted and cleared inventory of the iPad 2 ahead of this though, it's now confusing the range and a rather odd one out.
Cheap is up for question though. Based on the screen resolution I still think you'd be better off saving £100 and getting a Nexus 7. How can apple launch a small tablet without at least a 720p display, after touting retina on the ipad 3 it feels like a major step back and cash in here, really feels like they had a bunch of ipad2 components left lying around and just threw together a smaller screen just to try and cash in on the small tablet market.
Wow (shadowsong): Arthran, Arthra, Arthrun, Amyle (I know, I'm inventive with names)
Honestly, if I had £260 to spend on a tablet right now, I'd rather buy one of these: http://hitonumpc.ecrater.co.uk/p/155...m-z670-windows
£159 for nexus 7 and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) available for under £300 (some reputable sites having it on offer around £260) and only the uneducated or seriously tied into the apple eco system need apply, for everyone else there is nothing to see.
i don't think so. think about it, they sold how many million at £400 minimum, so how many more are they going to sell at £269 for a brand new model that makes it even more affordable, shortening the price gap. it will fly off the shelves. they've still got space to move sub £250 in a few months after xmas when ipad mini 2 comes out
The iPad mini is too expensive for what it is, in the 7" market you've already got the amazing value for money products from Google and Kindle shaping up

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
But its a joke of a spec for £269, not wholey surprised at this. I bet they still sell a bucket load.
