Nice idea, I wonder when/if it will hit the market?
All the articles out there all say it's a "mock up" without an release estimates or mention of it being released to manufacturers. Normally there are things like "expect to see these late 2009" or something.
Nice, but i'm not holding my breath
reminds me of a very small laptop of some sorts.
im sure it will be a long time before we see these on the market as the technology would cost a fortune now
Engadget didn't pick on the same story that PCWorld did (surprisingly, they normally post anything and everything), but they do have a piece about a Samsung folding screen phone.

Perhaps this is the actual commercial implimentation of that mock up in the OP.
The pics in the op look like dual screens, but the sammy flexible oled display is far advanced from that. I wonder about the longevity of the screen in that application along the line of the fold. Whether there will ultimately be some deterioration.
the samsungs seems to fold flat, while the one at the top of thread seems to have a spine so its more "curved tightly" than folded totally... can see the latter being much easier

I can't decide whether there is a join at the fold or if it really is just where the "task bar" is.
*edit* Full front touch screen and a double sized internal foldable screen?
