Orange contract

Hi everyone,
Just started an orange contact but I was wondering if I can use the phone for calls/texting/internet before my bill date? or will I get charged for this?

When I started my sim only contract with o2 a while ago I got charged for using the sim before it's first bill date so just wondering if it's the same here.

I wouldnt think you would get charged, i used my last orange contract phone as soon as i got it(didnt get charged). Thinking about it you shouldnt either way, if your paying for a whole month(first bill) then surely your buying nothing?. Or are you on about the activation bill? Unsure about that as mine was direct with orange and it was activated already .

Hmmm. Fair enough. Its just my first proper contract phone so just wanted to make sure!

It only got activated yesterday, but my bill date isn't for about another week? And i only have 200 mins available even though i signed up for 600 and it says i'm on 600? :S

Anyone else got any input?

Been in the same situation mate.

I am on the 200Mins, Unlimited texts plan.

When i signed up it was a week and a half before my bill, i was able to use 100minutes and unlimited texts before that date.

When the bill came through, the minutes were reset to 200

If you are still unsure, give them a ring, last two times i did i got two different women who spoke perfect English and actually had some brain cells

Ah ok cool. Hmm, I might have to do that. Although I've already used some of my data usage allowance!

Iirc you'll get charged for that first week on top of your first months bill, also you could always call 150 and check your minutes and texts allowance
