How do you keep your touchscreen clean?

Hmm smudgy fingerprints bad. So I got a little cloth I use to clean the screen of my phone which is ok but it's not really able to shift the fingerprints quickly.

The cloth is the same stuff I use to clean my glasses with.

Now naturally I would use some isopropyl alcohol but this being my first ever capacitive touchscreen, i don't want to do anything to screw it up.

So in generaly, how do you clean these screens to keep them nice and shiney?

Yep micro fibre cloth to clean it, dampened for stubborn marks. I seem to have particularly greasy fingers and ears so my screen is always filthy!

Re: How do you keep your touchscreen clean?

Did actually lick my hero (the phone kind) today to clean it, got all chocolatey :3
But yeah, other than that I just use my jumper or whatever's about, got a decent screen protector on so it doesn't get scratched.
Most the time it lives in a little phone sized sleeping bag made of velvet though.

Same here I use the cloth for my glasses, works quite well.

For all marks breathing on the surface before wiping does the trick for me.

I usually just wipe it on my jeans. I've found the texture of denim removes the smudges better than a t-shirt.

Re: How do you keep your touchscreen clean?

    For bad smudges I use:
    http://www.amazon.com/Monster-CLNKIT.../dp/B000068P8W

It's more like a gel, and won't seep through the skin on the LCD, comes up a treat and have to use pretty much nothing to clean it

Can't beat a quick clean on the t-shirt lol

The hero's screen doesn't stay clean for very long, so I just tend to leave it until it's difficult to make out what's on the screen

Yeah, as I wear spec I usually have a microfibre cloth handy.

The best way is to keep your hands clean.

Re: How do you keep your touchscreen clean?

I hate touch screens, it really irritates me how impossible it is to keep them clean.
I tend to have a microfibre cloth on me at all times as I wear glasses, but I also have an iKlear kit which works wonders, really gets it clean. Very pricey though.

No need for overkill! Hot breath and a wipe of the soft underside of your shirt does the job perfectly
