Dilema - HTC HD2 or Google Nexus?

Bought myself a HD2 a month or so ago - or rather, sold my soul to Orange on a long contract for one - and I'm delighted with it, best phone I've ever had (and I've had a few topline phones over the years).

However, my father in law - wonderful chappy that he is - has bought me a Google Nexus....which is shiny....One of them is going on Ebay, but which one.

HD2 is great, but I get the feeling (having experienced my wife's Iphone app explosion - not as painful as it sounds) that the marketplace leaves a lot to be desired and that the Nexus is going to plug that hole very nicely....

Question is, does the Nexus have enough going for it to give up the beloved HD2? Anyone had experience of both?

Dont have much experience with the nexus but it is a nice phone , however for the hd2 check over at the xda developer forums for the htc leo (hd2) and you will find a lot of apps/programs there, youll also find cooked roms there and so far im loving the different roms (currently using energy rom) and i believe there is an android version being hacked which is close to finishing (cant remember fully) so might be worth keeping the htc.

A happy HTC HD2 user here. No experience with the nexus, but you got to love the bigger screen of the HD2! I can secind hick's suggestion on XDA, i have happily tweeked my and it is a right treat now!

Happy HD2 user here, mainly due to ROM's from the guys over at htcpedia, depedns what you use the phone for tbh, for me a Nexus or any none MS phone would be of less use as I use all the office/live tools on a daily basis...

and i believe there is an android version being hacked which is close to finishing (cant remember fully) so might be worth keeping the htc.

HTC are releasing an Android HD2 (in all but name) in Q2...had a play at work with one, bit annoyed that I didnt wait now!! So I guess when its released then the ROM will be availabe quickly!

yeh but will also be more expensive . XDA would be doing it for free so it gives you the option of android and WM eventually .

Oh, I am.....I figure with the money I make from selling all those, I'll have enough in the bank for a new Windows Mobile 7 when it comes out.....doh!

Actually, after playing with the Nexus last night, I'm going to get work to set it up as my office phone and give back my Bold9000....anyone know of any problems using an android 2 phone as a work phone? Email Sync and all that?
