Thinking of jumping ship to a HD2...

    Hi guys

Basically I currently use a nokia n900 but after a few months, ive got a bit bored of it, dont get me wrong, i think its fantastic but im not sure it was ever the right phone for me, so i was looking at phones that fall into the same kind of range or better (or what i could afford with the money i'd get from the n900 sale)

but what i want to know is, what can the hd2 do that that n900 cant?

one thing that makes me slightly reluctant is all the bad things people say about winmo 6.5, is it really bad?

does the hd2 tightly intergrate with facebook? as one of my fave features of the n900 is how it updated my phonebook with peoples facebook profile pictures and information, can i expect the same with the hd2? Also is fb chat intergrated in there aswell?

what about gaming? I love the fact that i can play snes / mega drive roms on my n900, would i be able to do that on the hd2?

can the hd2 play the same types of media as the n900 aswell?

i need convincing people, as it isnt an easy decision to make

Yes it has that facebook integration and it works fantastically. Updates contact information from facebook (although specifics can be specified, ie - don't overwrite contact picture etc..) also pulls latest status information and contains that in a contact information tab.

There are many snes / mega drive emulators available for WinMo 6.5 so yes you can play your roms.

I haven't hit a type of media it cannot play, there are some better alternatives to the standard Windows Media Player which better handle the more unusual types of media.

I think the phone is brilliant, and xda-developers forum has some fantastic mods/files and general information on the hd2.

    Hope this helps.
