Well the Galaxy S is on now, and it's more expensive than the Desire/Legend by a fair bit so can't see the Galaxy S Pro being any better. And Samsung are notorious for their sh*te software and no OTA updates

Won't be too long before the Galaxy S is rooted, and then you won't have to worry about OTA updates

Rang Vodafone yesterday as I was after a Desire, it should only be free on £35+ 18m contracts but they offered me 75mins/3000txt/1GB for £25/month on an 18month contract

Low mins I know but more than enough for me. Voda online out of stock until 30th though, gonna try to get a store to match it today

See if it's Vodafone I'm semi-willing to settle for the Nexus instead of the Desire, pretty much the same device apparently

Problem is I'm looking at more minutes, need at least 300, ideally 500 or so

Will give them a call today I think, need to sort some stuff out so might pop into CPW and see what they can do

Hmm had a go on the Motorola Milestone today (well the dummy one) and it seemed nice, and apparently the Milestone 2 is due in august so I might just wait a while, going to go give the desire and hopefully the Milestone 1 a proper go next week though

I avoid P4U out of principal, ok deal on their site £25ppm with £75 cashback but only 100mins, 500txt, no mention of data? Might pop in after work though, really hope they don't have a good deal on

prefer them to Carphone warehouse, seriously they take bend over backwards to sell a phone use that to your advantage!

Well I went in at 5.15PM and they offered me nothing, guy just quoted standard tariffs, guess he'd met his target for the week!

Voda on the other hand were great, couldn't match online deals but said I could have the £25 tariif+£5 data bolt on (100mins, unlim text, 500mb) with a free phone. Handset is £150 I think on that tariff so they were at least trying! Lot of places seem to have it only for free on £30+ 24m tariffs.

£25 Quidco from there as well.

I ended up with Voda direct.

Free Desire, 600mins, unlim txt, 1GB data £35/m but I also get a 20% discount on that, plus £90 from Quidco.
