Re: The HTC One X discussion thread

I'm not sure what's changed, but the battery life of my phone has been much much better the past two months. I can get away with one charge a day which I just do over night.

The only real gripes I have is that Google Listen (the podcast app), will stop every 30 minutes or so (due to what I imagine is a task priority thing) and I also don't like the fact "Beats audio" is involved with anything to do with audio playback, I couldn't care less about it.

Can anyone who has used an HTC One X and a Nexus 4 give me their thoughts?

Woop! Had a small 1.25mb update just now which said it was in preparation for Jelly Bean, upon restarting I decided to "check for updates now" and I am currently downloading a 300 odd megabyte update which I am pretty sure is jellybean

    Yeah that's it!

Project butter really stands out as effective on the one X, things are much smoother.
I'm not sure the improvements to battery life are worth anything though, haven't noticed anything better in the last 18 hours or so.

Re: The HTC One X discussion thread

The phone seems just as smooth as it used to to me, which is no bad thing

And the new google voice search... I had read reviews saying it was incredible but wow...

If that stupid Google Listen closing bug can stop, then I will be 100% happy with it

Strangely 'Browser' is still there, but you can disable it now :-)

Re: The HTC One X discussion thread

hmmm, i tried to use the energy saver, ever since i havent been able to get any 3G at all. Unless EE have been having issues in North Yorks, i might have stumbled across a pretty serious bug!

Im pretty sure its a serious bug. Hard reset and its come back... im annoyed!

Re: The HTC One X discussion thread

Biscuit, I didn't use energy saver but I lost 3G too. I had to go and reselect EE as my Access Point Name again, then it started working instantly

I was drunk and impatient last night and just wiped it, didnt really think about how much of a mission it was going to be to get my phone back the way it was.

My brother has it, I like its dimensions particularly the width.

Was going to make him an offer but his offering me Nexus 4.
