Orange m500 - Sync Issues

I'm having big problems getting my m500 to sync nicely with my Desktop PC. It seems to sync once OK, but subsequent attempts to sync in the same session cause big problems; lock ups in ActiveSync, the phone starts behaving strangely etc. Disconnecting the USB cable and reconnecting just seem to compound the problem.

Any ideas?

Try uninstalling activesync -> reboot -> reinstall. Activesync can be horribly problematic sometimes for the oddest reasons. I have the Qtek S100 BTW so hi from a fellow HTC user

BTW which ROM are you running? There's plenty to choose from Have you done the bigstorage hack yet?

softreset the handset or checking to see that activesync still isnt in the running program list (if it is end task it) may also help if rebooting the main PC didnt work.
