    Question Sony Ericsson & x64

    Hi

Just purchased a brand new W800i Sony Ericsson phone only to find out that none of the bundled software / drivers work with Windows x64. Called Sony and it seems they have no info about this at all other than to say it doesnt work (i know that, i've tried....). Does anyone have any ideas / rumors of when the x64 drivers will become available for Sony Ericsson products?

    Cheers y'all

    Andy

Just found a company that have posted a beta they have made for the p900 & p910i sync station. check out http://wilson-it.com/useful.htm for the file. They have asked i email them the drivers for the w800i and the k750i and they will see if they can write one! Cheers guys!

Thats a bit crap if you ask me. Even if it was just the driver (the software is a waste of time anyway if you ask me).

In the mean time, you can just drag and drop the MP3's onto the memory stick using a card reader if you have one. All the software does is provide a fancy (and slighty flakey) way of this anyway. I just use EAC or Audiograbber (using the LAME encoder) and drop them on using Windows Explorer.

I think maybe we're confusing the issue a little bit here. You DO need the official drivers for the sync station in order to use that with Float's Mobile Agent. I've always found bluetooth a little problematic using that software

No you don't. Just your bluetooth drivers possibly. I need to create a virtual com port for mine to be able to work. Lol.
