Using Mozilla Firefox, next one up from Firebird, i.e. 0.8.
Superb browser, very quick, very light on memory usage. Particularly like the built-in pop stopper and tabbed browsing and simple privacy features.
Miles better than the bloated, memory-sapping i.e.
Firefox all the way, esp now it's working off my pendrive therefore I can run it at virtually any machine I'm at. Tabbed background-opening browsing and mouse gestures are things I could never again be without.
I use IE6.
Don't see any point in anything else.
It's secure enough for my liking. I used NetScape for a while and hated it.

i use firefox, as it obeys web standards, and does what i want it to do.
used to use opera, but i got fed up of the clunky interface. i can see why some like it though.
if you use the free version of opera with the adverts, i recommend you use noopads. it places a small shortcut bar over the advertisements, so you can use that space for something more useful.

Even better: my email client and database (Gemini) and Trillian are also installed on the pendrive too so I can carry around all my email and fetch/receive wherever I am.Originally Posted by directhex
I just installed Firefox to try out and I didn't like it anymore than I did Netscape. Didn't feel as nice as IE, and the scrolling is awful. So is the Bookmark management. And the Google search bar. And the fact that it takes longer to load than IE. And takes up more memory. And it's crappy plugin handling. And it's crappy download manager. And the fact it crashed when I first opened it. And so forth

Errr, you can get rid of the google search bar and all the other crap, also the bookmark management is fine to use, better than the IE one.
At least that browser can actually display CSS CORRECTLY! and at least it doesn't download every virus you link to! lol.
